Can Saltikva replace chemotherapy?

So far, Saltikva has been given with chemotherapy: in the Phase 2 study, participants received Saltikva with FOLFIRINOX or gemcitabine plus nab-paclitaxel. Preclinical data and the Phase 2 study suggest that Saltikva may potentially be used as a monotherapy, without chemotherapy, and this will be tested in an upcoming study. Saltikva is investigational and not approved, and it has not been shown to replace chemotherapy. Treatment decisions belong to patients and their oncology teams.
