Who was eligible for the Saltikva Phase 2 trial?

ClinicalTrials.gov ↗ lists eligibility for the Saltikva from Salspera, Inc. Phase 2 as adults with histologically confirmed, unresectable metastatic pancreatic adenocarcinoma, measurable disease, ECOG performance status of 0 or 1, life expectancy over 16 weeks and adequate laboratory values. Exclusions included other investigational agents, immunosuppressants, prophylactic antibiotics, brain metastases, HIV on antiretroviral therapy, active hepatitis B or C, significant ascites or heart disease, and HbA1c of 7.5 or higher. The criteria belong to a closed research study and are not a guide to personal eligibility for any treatment. ClinicalTrials.gov lists life expectancy over 16 weeks; in practice enrollment was left to the treating oncologist. Only patients who received more than five doses are in the headline efficacy analysis.
